Educating and empowering moms

Giving birth is a lifechanging experience, and it can be wonderful and empowering! However, what we see of it in movies is often very dramatic and fear-instilling. Going into your birth with a good preparation will make all the difference to your experience! In my KGHypnobirthing class you will learn that your body is indeed wondrously designed to give birth. You will come to know how your body works during labour and birth, how your body and mind can best work together, what your options are regarding interventions, and you will learn an entire toolkit of relaxation techniques, and how your partner can support you during labour and birth. I also offer a pre- and postnatal fitness program as well as nutrition counseling for pregnancy.


Ben and I wanted to write to say thank you so much for guiding us so brilliantly to give our second child the welcome into the world that we wanted.
Our daughter Lou was born on thursday morning, at home, in the water, just as we had envisaged, but actually the reality was far better than we could have hoped for. For me, the fear of repeating any part of the 4-day labour and epidural/forceps birth of our first daughter 9 years ago was strong, especially the fear of tearing badly again. But trusting in the information and wisdom of you and your hypnobirthing course, and practising together with Ben every day for the last month of my pregnancy, meant I didn’t tear at all this time.


It was almost 10 months ago that I put your course to use and I wish I had used it for my first two pregnancies too.
For me, before I read, and then watched, your course, I assumed hypnobirthing=hippy and un-scientific. I am very happy that, thanks to the recommendation of my sister, I persevered and instead I found your course highly relevant, informative and valuable. I went into my third delivery the most empowered and informed, I felt confident to stay home longer and felt the most present and engaged with the pregnancy. Instead of fighting to survive the contractions, I understood the function of the surges and used the breathing techniques to keep myself focused and calm and relaxed (or as relaxed as possible!).

Staying active during pregnancy is a great preparation for your birth, will help you feel more energized during pregnancy, counteracts pregnancy ailments, and will also benefit your postpartum recovery.

Postnatal exercise will support your body in its recovery, and focuses mainly on your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. It will incorporate more exercises for your entire body as you progress.

Learn how to eat well during your pregnancy, and receive practical help in establishing good eating habits.
I'm married, mother of a daughter, and pregnant with our second child. The pregnancy and birth of our daughter was a time of a lot of learning for me, and the start of my passion to share my knowledge and support other women in their pregnancy and postpartum journey. My wish is for women to have a positive and empowering birth experience. I'm a Pre- and Postnatal Fitness trainer and a KGHypnobirthing teacher, as well as a Nutritionist.
